For Ryan and Audrey’s anniversary, Ryan thought to surprise Audrey by placing envelopes of jigsaw puzzle pieces around the house. Each was labeled day 1, day 2, day 3, etc. For a week up until their anniversary, Audrey would find a hidden envelope each day in obvious places such as the refrigerator, the shower, by her mirror, and other places Ryan knew she would find one.

On the morning of their anniversary, the couple woke up and started their way over to the kitchen for breakfast. On their way, Audrey spotted a big wrapped gift box beside her unfinished puzzle on the dining table. She immediately ignored the kitchen and went to open her present.

How To Re-create This Romantic Anniversary Idea

1. First you need to make your personalized picture. Do so by first getting a picture of the desired location (off the internet would be perfect) and copy it onto paint. Then type in your special message into the center of the picture and save the file (Use pretty lettering if desired). Go to jigsaw2order.com, choose desired puzzle dimension, and then select I will upload my image file NOW. Click browse to select the picture you just created, and then select start upload. Lastly, make the purchase.

2. Pre-wrap the teddy bear, envelope, and enclosed camera. Then hide it away until your anniversary.

3. Separate the puzzle pieces into envelopes labeled day 1, day 2, etc. (Make sure to put the “special message” pieces in the last envelope!)

Now that the preparatory work is done, we can set this romantic anniversary idea into motion.

4. Each morning before your partner has woken up, (or each evening once they’ve gone to bed) set out an envelope in sequential order.

5. On the morning of your anniversary, wake up extra early and have the gift sitting at the table near the unfinished puzzle.
