A PROPOSAL ON PUZZLE BEACH
a marriage proposal idea

Colleen and Zack have been dating for almost three years now and are very happy together. The two are perfect for each other because though the couple likes going out, they both also enjoy nights when they can just hang out at home. In light of that, Zack though It would be a good idea to buy a large puzzle that the two could work together when they're sitting at home.

So that Saturday, Zack brought over a large 1500 piece puzzle and the couple started working on it over drinks and fun conversation. The couple continued this routine on and off over the month and the picture finally starting to take form as a beach sunset.

One Sunday evening, the couple decided they were finally going to finish the puzzle. Just as the two had set out to do, they used all the puzzle pieces set on the table. Unfortunately, a few pieces of the puzzle's center were missing. The two looked around for a bit, and Zack found the remaining six pieces (He pulled them from his pocket). Zack told Colleen to go ahead and put in the remaining pieces. As she did, Colleen's face lit up as she began to understand.

Putting the final pieces in place revealed a small, simple inscription; Colleen, will you marry me? As she looked up at Henry, he began to speak "Colleen, in my life I have never met anyone who fits so perfectly with me as you. You are my human puzzle piece, and if I end up a deaf, boring old man who does nothing but puzzles all day, that would be enough to keep me happy for the rest of my life as long as it was with you. Colleen, will you marry me?" speechless, Colleen slowly nodded and then softly said "yes."

The couple was married six month later, but the puzzle proposal was only half the fun. Because the backdrop of the puzzle was not just any beach, but one of Anguilla's most regarded beaches which the couple had always planned on visiting. So in memory of the day Zack proposed, the couple honeymooned on the same beach she had been proposed to on in her living room just six month earlier... just as Zack had planned.
