TUESDAY ROSES

It's just like any other Tuesday morning for Michelle as she wakes up and gets ready for another day as a busy house mother. She dresses, make her three boys lunch for school, and then begins doing housework. Her husband Jake commutes to work and so left before Michelle had woken up that morning.

As the day went on, her children returned home and she had already begun cooking supper. As she was finishing up, she noticed that it was already 6:00 p.m. and decided to call to make sure Jake wasn't running too late; He didn't answer. Not much concerned, as Jake never answers his phone, she allows dinner to simmer as they wait for him to get home. Sure enough, at 6:15 p.m. he's home.

She made her way to the door so as to see her husband to the table, but instead Jake hands his wife a bouquet of long stem roses and surprises her with a warm, loving kiss. Michelle, with a bit of laughter in her throat, asked "What are these for?" to which he simply replied "You."

As the couple sat down to join the children at the table, Michelle couldn't help but blush thinking that, however subtly, she was still married to the sweetest man she'd ever met.
