BURIED TREASURE
from our wedding proposal ideas

It's Friday, and Rachael and Adam are enjoying a fun-filled day out on the beach. After spending the earlier part of the day running around, Adam suggested they slow the pace taking a walk and enjoying each others' company. "While we're at it," said Adam, "why don't we take the metal detector and find some treasure!" Rachael just laughed and agreed to humor her boyfriend's clear excitement.

As the couple strolled and the sun began its descent, their walk became less and less about treasure and more about laughs, happy reminiscence, and companionship. "We should probably start heading back" suggested Rachael, "I don't think we're finding-"Click! "You spoke too soon" laugh Adam.

Now excited, the pair began digging. What they found, humorously enough, was a child's plastic treasure chest. Opening the chest, Rachael began to realize the setup.

Inside, were photos, movie tickets, and an assortment of items reminiscent of their journey with one another. Smiling and laughing together, Rachael noticed a small box at the bottom of the chest and grabbed it.

As she opened the box, Adam slowly got on one knee saying "Rachael, will you marry me?" Not able to speak or hold back her smile, she just nodded and fell into Adam's arm. As he slipped the ring on her finger, the couple shared a loving kiss and watched the sun set on a perfect day.
